kor
I am wanting to take names from an excel sheet... convert them to lowercase, then capitalize only the first letter. I am also wanting to check to see if a last name contains a hyphen, and if it does, also capitalize the first letter after the hyphen. $var1 = "first" $var2 = "last" $var3 = StringLeft($var1, 1) $firstletter = StringUpper($var3) $firstname = $firstletter & StringTrimLeft($var1, 1) $var4 = StringLeft($var2, 1) $lastletter = StringUpper($var4) $lastname = $lastletter & StringTrimLeft($var2, 1) msgbox(0, "", $firstname & " " & $lastname) I'm sure there is a better way to do what I am doing above, but I'm also wanting to do the whole hyphen checking and such. Any help?

ZacUSNYR
Maybe _StringProper() That's the easiest way to do it. #include <String.au3> $var1 = "jack" $var2 = "black" MsgBox(0, "StringProper", _StringProper($var1) & " " & _StringProper($var2))
