macdad
im trying to come up with a script to read a certain area of a webpage say a certain space around x,y cords would be nice like about 300x300 in a certain area using it to see if it matches a certain text like lumber or something like that in that area
pedmacedo
If the text you want to get always starts and ends with the same sub-strings, then you could get all the text and then filter it with the _StringBetween method. If not, try with MouseClickDrag(x1,y1,x2,y2) and then Send("^c")
PsaltyDS
Look at the _IE* functions of the IE.au3 UDF. For specific elements on the page you can get their X/Y coordinates and text. DaleHohm
Man, use some sentences, punctuation and capital letters. Newb
Then, read the address of a page with _IeBodyReadText or _IeBodyReadHtml (the best one that matches your needs) storing the result in a variable. After, look into it with _StringBetween. I'm a compulsive poster. When I post something, come to read it at least 5 minutes later after the posting, because I will edit it. I edited even this signature a few minutes later after I wrote it.
