Hi All,

I am very new to Auto IT and programming. Appreciate if you could help me get this script up :)

I was wondering if the below is possible from a txt file (attached)

1. read .txt files from a folder

2. Display the report in a sepaarte html page with html table

Table 1

|No of files|No of bugs |No of observations/questions |

|xxx |yyy |zzz |

Table 2

|File Name |Start Time |End Time |Duration |Developer |Tester |Bugs |Observations/Questions |

|1.txt |12:21 |13:21 |60 |aaa |bbb |no of bugs in specific file|no of observations/questions in specific file |

Also can the file name have a hyper link to open the spcific file

To get an idea of how to write HTML code from AutoIt have a look in the my signature _GUICtrlListView_PrintOut() & maybe _FileReadToArray() to read the Text File. The best way to learn is search for examples and Read the Help File :)

Hi ragiroit,

take a look at the helpfile as guinness already said.

Look for the following functions:

_FileListToArray

_FileReadToArray

FileWriteLine

You'll need to read each filename into an array, then loop the array and ready every file into a new array. Extract the information you need and print out as HTML.

There are also many good HTML tutorials out in the internet that can get you started very fast.
