robpat1630 Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 I have a compiled script. 9 times out of 10 it works fine. Depends on the machine it runs on, the os, who knows what... anyway it gives me a line number error of 4002 periodically, for example... but I only have 1000 lines in my code. If I do the @ScriptLineNumber in a compiled script I get a -1 because it is compiled. I'm not using that obfuscator... I read about some trick there using that. I can't run the Autoit environment on the machine or I'd know the actual line number easily... so, I need to do a fix using the line number 4002 information (more error checking wherever it is having problems most likely) and build a new executeable. If I were to take my script and write another one that would give every line in my script a line number, and break-out any includes and generate line numbers for all of those lines and insert them appropriately, is it going to give me a listing with the actual line number that I really want to know in the uncompiled script? Any tricks to getting the right line number... like it leaves out comments in the line count or anything like that? There doesn't happen to be any flag you can set during the compile to generate such a listing is there? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
