Using GPO to run script and it fails

I wrote a simple script that calls an executable from the network along with a silent switch. I then compiled this to x86 exe. I then wrapped it in an MSI file so i could push it out via GPO. The MSI file runs fine and installs the software when i run it manually. But when i push it via GPO nothing happens. It does show up as an applied policy. I have the share where the MSI is stored opened up to the group the computer is part of.

The assignment of application SLTSInstall from policy Software_Install_SLTS failed. The error was : Fatal error during installation.
