Moderators Melba23 Posted February 3, 2011 Moderators Share Posted February 3, 2011 AlienStar,There is no problem with the code - but I think you are using the wrong property code. Try using 34 - File Description - and see how you get on. M23P.S. You will not see anything displayed when you try MsgBox(0, "oDir ", $oDir) - object references cannot be read by mortals, only computers. Oh so true but he might want to read up on ObjName() in the help file. I didn't test it against this particular code but it will sometimes do the job as in MsgBox(0, "oDir ", ObjName($oDir)) It is imperative to read the help file on this one since there is a remark about it's use. George Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.Be sure to read and follow the forum rules. -AKA the AutoIt Reading and Comprehension Skills test.*** The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports.
