Hi, I have a lot of problem to "port" a batch file to autoit, this batch work ok as soon as there's no spaces in the path or name.. so it' s quite not usable.. the dos code:

%~dp0\Utils\Shortcut.exe /F:StartServer.lnk /A:C /T:%~dp0\Server\Servertray.exe /W:%~dp0\Server\ /R:3
rundll32 shell32.dll,ShellExec_RunDLL %~dp0\StartServer.lnk
del StartServer.lnk

The %~dp0 in dos retrieve the full path of the batch but it doesn' t work in a complex path with spaces

Shortcut.exe is an utility to create a .lnk dinamically.

Please help, thank you

Hi rinox,

try using FileCreateShortcut to create the link.

Take a look at the helpfile.

But you could also try using ShellExecute or ShellExecuteWait if it is just for running Programs with arguments. You don't neccessarily need to create the shortcuts.

Reards,

Hannes
