Valiante
I've had a bit of a search around, but no one else seems to have reported this issue, so it must be something I'm doing wrong. At first I noticed a FileOpenDialog line I'd just written into a new script seemed to be ignored. To test, I made a new one-liner with the following code in it;FileOpenDialog("Test Title", "C:\", "*.*")And it just runs, then exists with a 0 return code. No dialog. Am I missing something?>"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper\AutoIt3Wrapper.exe" /run /prod /ErrorStdOut /in "C:\Users\User\Documents\AU3\FileOpenTest.au3" /autoit3dir "C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3" /UserParams +>09:04:41 Starting AutoIt3Wrapper v.2.0.1.24 Environment(Language:0409 Keyboard:00000809 OS:WIN_7/ CPU:X64 OS:X64) >Running AU3Check (1.54.19.0) from:C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3 +>09:04:41 AU3Check ended.rc:0 >Running:(3.3.6.1):C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\autoit3_x64.exe "C:\Users\User\Documents\AU3\FileOpenTest.au3" +>09:04:41 AutoIT3.exe ended.rc:0 >Exit code: 0 Time: 1.882I'm running Windows 7 Pro x64 if that makes any difference at all, and just re-downloaded and installed SciTE from here, just in case. Moderators Melba23 Posted February 16, 2011 Moderators Share Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) Valiante, Am I missing something?Yes, the file mask needs to be in () - the preceding text is optional. So this will work: FileOpenDialog("Test Title", "C:\", "(*.*)") All clear? M23 Edit: Wrong button - too soon! Valiante
D'oh - yes - sorry - and thanks. Knew it was something silly I'd missed - I even checked the help file and didn't spot that! Cheers. Solved.
