BrewManNH
I decided to try out the cvsWrapper and Tortoise SVN to keep track of updates to my scripts. The problems started when I tried to run the cvswrapper.exe under Windows 7 (x86). It gave me an error message telling me it was the wrong version for my OS. So I recompiled the cvswrapper.au3 file and it at least was able to run now. The problem I'm having though is that the wrapper can't find my installation of Tortoise SVN probably because the registry settings are different under Win7. Can anyone tell me the keys I need to have it check rather than the ones it's checking now, or has anyone been able to get it to work using Win7 and have a copy of the source code I could compile for myself? Thanks in advance. Bob If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. BrewManNH
I found out what my problem was, other than not being able to properly follow the instructions that is, I had installed Tortoise SVN but hadn't installed SVN as the instructions stated. I assumed that the part in the instructions that said "optional download and install Tortoise SVN" that it meant I could use it in place of the SVN install, which I can't obviously By the way, you may want to update the link to the SVN files as they've moved, the new location is http://subversion.apache.org/packages.html, I installed the Win32SVN version in case anyone else is looking for it.
