Date less, grater

Hello.

I have 2 pieces date,

first date is connect website and get user fnish date.

second date is now date

if first date greater than second date, using Success() function.

else if second date greater than first date, using Failed("time") function.

Sorry for my bad english.

What I understand is you have 2 Dates.

1st Date = The day the user ????????????

2nd Date = Today's date!

If 1st Date > 2nd Date Then Success()

If 2nd Date > 1st Date then Fail()

#Include <Date.au3>

$Date1 = ??????????????

If $Date1 > _NowDate Then Success()
If _NowDate > $Date1 then Fail()

It's your date format on your computer. For example if you are in the USA the date format would be 02/19/2011, so just add that to the line >>

$Date1 = ??????????????

In the Help File for _NowDate() have a look at the Remarks Section >> "Returns the current Date specified in your computer's regional settings."

_NowDate

Returns the current Date in the Pc's format.

#Include <Date.au3>

_NowDate()

Return Value

Returns the current Date specified in your computer's regional settings.

Remarks

If your computer's regional settings is not accessible it returns the date in the "M/d/yyyy" format.

Func CheckTime()

$id = GUICtrlRead($id)

$id8 = _INetGetSource('******************************************' & $id & 'time.txt')

$now = _NowCalcDate()

If $id8 > $now Then Success()

If $now > $id8 then Failed("time")

EndFunc

Func is return Failed("time") but

$id8=2012/06/04

$now=Today

i think func return Success() but i got error

I tried something but it didn't work, have a look at _DateDiff() in the Help File too.

I was having problems because I was using "\" and not "/", simple changes can cause big headaches! :)

Just as another options: You could convert both dates to Julian dates (_DateToDayValue()) and do the simple GT LT EQ comparison.
