aleph01 Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Can someone point me to an example of a listbox that allows multiple selections and how to run commands on each selection or to put the selections into an array so I can run commands on them? I'm an AutoIt beginner, and this seems pretty advanced to me. An example that I could modify would be perfect if it exists. Thanks in advance. Meds. They're not just for breakfast anymore. aleph01 Posted March 3, 2011 Author Share Posted March 3, 2011 M23, Thanks for the reply. No about the dogs, they don't eat binary. I was looking at that very help item when you posted. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at trying to increase the number of items in the list to 37. Even though I lengthen the window, and list the items, it seems to be stuck at allowing only 22 items. That is, the window lengthens and the list displays on a white field, but that "field" doesn't lengthen with the window, and is stuck at 22 items. Ideas? Meds. They're not just for breakfast anymore. You will need to #include <WindowsConstants.au3> as well. aleph01 Posted March 3, 2011 Author Share Posted March 3, 2011 Thanks, M23. I'll keep that info handy for another time. I was tinkering and found that the "field" was lengthened by increasing the length of GUICreate. Now my users won't have to scroll, and I get to use an emoticon like this My next challenge is to set the list as elements in an array. I've seen a function to do that, so I'm hoping this wasn't quite as overwhelming as I thought it would be. Next quarter I'll be taking my first programming class (Visual Basic) so I'm hoping that will help me pull things together in the scripting world. I'm grateful for your help. Meds.
