Internet Explorer multi tabs problem...

Recommended Posts

I an facing problem in handling the multiple tabs in IE7 with AutoIt...

can you give me the code to identify and operate on multiple tabs ?

I want to perform functions like identifying current tab etc without simulating any mouse clicks. Thanks. :)

See here for some discussion:

Also note that the DOM API does not give any sort of interface to the tabs, so you need to find alternate means.

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Try my _EnumChildWindows function (in signature) and the following code to get the tabs (in an array):

$hWnd=WinGetHandle("[CLASS:IEFrame;REGEXPTITLE:Internet Explorer]")
$aEnumList=_EnumChildWindows($hWnd,0,0,'TabWindowClass')
_ArrayDisplay($aEnumList,"IE Tabs")
