I am looking to obtain help in writing a function that will take an incoming variable (registry key) and write to a log file the strings and values within the key prior to deleting it.

I am fairly sure using an array would be the best method along with use of the RegEnumKey and RegEnumVal functions. I am really unsure of how to put these commands together in a loop to populate said array. Then use that array to perform the tasks required. That said, the current implemenation also contains no #include statements and I would like to try to stay away from adding any.

I am *REALLY* new to this. Just picked it up a few days ago due to a departing coworker. Please be merciful.

What do you have so far? Because as you can appreciate if one of us was to create an Example it still might be a little confusing. Perhaps have a look at the Help File about the respective Functions. Also you haven't specified a Registry Key you would like to enumerate?

Did you try this >> My suggestion would be to have a look at how KaFu does it and read the Help File on how to structure the code correctly :) Also I would recommend that you use SciTE4AutoIt3 as this will show you any code errors you might have within your Script. For Example...
