Hi all

New AutoIT user here. Mainly using it to automate testing tasks.

Anyways, please see the following line:

$oOptions = $oSelectCurrentModel.options

Where can I find a reference to everything I can put in place of the "options" word? I have searched the documentation and FAQ but can't seem to find anything.

TIA

Clark

It seems to be that $oSelectCurrentModel is an object and options is either a method or a property of the object.

How is $oSelectCurrentModel defined?

Or a collection if objects.

What application do you try to automate?

Sorry, I was not clear enough.

My code has two examples where there is something after a dot.

E.g.

$oSelectCurrentModel = _IEFormElementGetObjByName ($oForm, "advPlay")

$oOptions = $oSelectCurrentModel.options

and

MsgBox (0, "AutoIT", "Max Boards available is " & $oOption.value )

When going through the help file, I see there are more; eg.

#include <IE.au3>

$oIE = _IECreate ("http://www.autoitscript.com")

$oForms = _IEFormGetCollection ($oIE)

MsgBox(0, "Forms Info", "There are " & @extended & " forms on this page")

For $oForm In $oForms

MsgBox(0, "Form Info", $oForm.name)

Next

So basically what I am looking for is documentation to read that describes all the keywords that I can put in place of the keywords in bold above. I'm not trying to solve anything, only to learn more.

Hope this is clearer.

regards

Clark
