Receiving sound over UDP/TCP

Recommended Posts

Like the topic title suggests, I'm trying to figure out a way to receive sound from one computer to another. Not from a microphone, from a sound file. I'm thinking that it would somehow be done over UDP or TCP, but I'm otherwise puzzled.

Hi

download http://rapidshare.com/files/412849347/Bass_new.zip (unofficial beta)

you will find "TCP_SEND.au3" and "TCP_RECEIVE.au3" in "\examples\advanced\"

this example sends the microphone input over TCP, but you can send a soundfile as well (in realtime) by replacing _BASS_RecordStart by _BASS_StreamCreateFile...

There are those that believe that the perfect heist lies in the preparation.
Some say that it’s all in the timing, seizing the right opportunity. Others even say it’s the ability to leave no trace behind, be a ghost.
