Call Function - Obfuscator

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm doing a server/client connection and i've used the TCP UDF:

The thing is that when i'm obfuscating the script, it's getting erros related to the Call() function, in the UDF.

Have something that can i do to replace the function call?

Have another may to do the connections?

Thanks!

You could just use only the /striponly parameter for Obfuscator and then just ignore the message if it comes up again. At least that way you will be able to clear out unused functions and shrink your script without actually obfuscating the script. Also, if you're not using the function that is causing the issue, the one with the Call() command in it, then just ignore the error completely because you're not using it, it won't affect anything.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

.... and then just ignore the message if it comes up again.

Not sure if this is a good advice. When an Error/Warning is displayed you better know for sure that it can be ignored or else the script will be crippled.

Also, if you're not using the function that is causing the issue, the one with the Call() command in it, then just ignore the error completely because you're not using it, it won't affect anything.

You could also use the #obfuscator_ignore_funcs directive to ensure the names of the FUNC's used by the CALL statements are not Obfuscated (Renamed).
