Spiff59 Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Yashied had a very sneaky method using IsDeclared() and Assign() near the bottom of this thread by UEZ:I do believe it has a limitation, which may or may not affect you. I'm thinking if the input file were more than "basic text", if there were embedded control characters or certain punctuation, that the Assign() statement may not function as desired.But with simple strings, it was VERY fast.
