Rogue5099
I am having trouble reading the visable text from a window... When I use AutoIt Window Information I see all the info and I have tried reading the controls and all but no success. How would I read all the info just like the AutoIt Win Info -> Visable text Tab? If I can do that to a string I can remove unneeded text. Thanks! My projects: Inventory / Mp3 Inventory, Computer Stats
wakillon
did you try WinGetText or_WinAPI_GetWindowText ? AutoIt 3.3.14.2 X86 - SciTE 3.6.0 - WIN 8.1 X64 - Other Example Scripts
Rogue5099
Yes I tried both. So I am trying to copy the "Your ID" and "Password" fields on TeamViewer Quick Support. On my website I connect to peoples computers to troubleshoot them. TVQS is quick and easy (so I thought). I posted up directions on how to download run and give info to me to connect. Well I used an image from TeamViewers website that has YourID: 123 456 789, Password: 1234. Most of the people that are trying to get help don't relize this is a picture. So I was going to automate Downloading, running, copy ID pass then SMS/Email it to me. I'm having problems reading the Edit fields. The AutoIt window tool shows all the visable text so I know it can be read. My projects: Inventory / Mp3 Inventory, Computer Stats
