I am new and I bet you can help me - remove title bar

Recommended Posts

Hey, have been working with AutoIt for quite a lot in the past days, but there is one thing that I can't solve myself via google/autoit documentation.

On a forum for FFXIV a User posted code as follows:

!^f::
WinSet, Style, -0xC40000, A
WinMove, A, , 0, 0, 1024, 768
;WinActivate, A
return

Now this code works like a charm in most cases. However, I just can't recreate it with AutoIt and I would like to, as I want to integrate this little feature into my script.

The main issue in particular is the 'WinSet' command.

That's the last aka current one of my many tried solutions:

GUICtrlSetStyle(GUICtrlGetHandle("Sacred 2 - Ice & Blood"), BitAND(BitNOT(0x00C40000), GUIGetStyle(GUICtrlGetHandle("Sacred 2 - Ice & Blood"))))

In priorized order:

- what's the AutoIt command for that AHK command (WinSet)?

- I would also appreciate ideas for just "covering" the blue/silver/greenish titlebar+border of a window

- Or using native AHK commands in AutoIt

- Or launching AHK script via au3

If anyone can address any of those issues, kudos to you :)

misterioes,

"Sacred 2 - Ice & Blood"

You must have missed this on your way in. :)

We do take this announcement seriously. And please do not PM me like the last person to whom I gave this advice - I do not change my position in private.

oh my god... no I didn't miss it, I even read it just before I opened the thread. I simply forgot it the second I finished reading the announcement ^^

But it's just a question of how to get rid of the titlebar ;(

Anyway, this rule sounds reasonable to me, I'll find a way around myself.
