Symbol in WinGetHandle

I need to do this:

WinGetHandle("▶ ")

But I can't put the ▶ symbol in SciTE

Any solution?

MsgBox(0, "", WinGetTitle(WinGetHandle("some other text of the same window")))

This returns the complete title & also with the ▶ symbol, so I guess it should be possible.

I can't say for certain, but here are some thoughts:

WinGetHandle can accept a different WinTitleMatchMode, which may solve your specific needs although it doesn't answer the question.

The ▶ symbol is unicode (I think), so you might need to open the file in notepad and save it as a unicode format file. I'm not sure how SciTe will react when you reopen it.

In SciTE4AutoIt3, with your script open, select "FILE | ENCODING | UTF-8 with BOM" then save it. This demo displays that symbol just fine (if saved as UTF-8 as mentioned):

MsgBox(64, "▶", "Testing:  ▶")
But while it is displayed in the editor itself, you see box for that code point. Your web browser probably display the arrow point, but the editor doesn't. That doesn't stop it from working when you run it though.
