DickWms Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 I'm writing an AutoIt GUI with multiple input boxes and buttons. The user can move from control to control using the Tab key. I'd like the program to perform specific actions when the user hits Enter or Tab. The actions should be different and depend on which box or button was highlighted when he hits Enter. I would appreciate some help on how to do this. Thank you - Dick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 21, 2011 Moderators Share Posted April 21, 2011 DickWms, I can think of a number of ways to do this - but here is probbaly the easiest: #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <Misc.au3> #include <WinAPI.au3> $dll = DllOpen("user32.dll") $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) $hInput_1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("1", 10, 10, 200, 20) $hInput_2 = GUICtrlCreateInput("2", 10, 110, 200, 20) $hInput_3 = GUICtrlCreateInput("3", 10, 210, 200, 20) GUISetState() While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE DllClose($dll) Exit EndSwitch If _IsPressed("0D", $dll) Then Switch _WinAPI_GetFocus() Case GUICtrlGetHandle($hInput_1) MsgBox(0, "Focus", "Input 1 had focus") Case GUICtrlGetHandle($hInput_2) MsgBox(0, "Focus", "Input 2 had focus") Case GUICtrlGetHandle($hInput_3) MsgBox(0, "Focus", "Input 3 had focus") EndSwitch EndIf WEnd Please ask if anything is unclear.
