Returning to previous indice after changes

I have an array of about 600 rows by 4 columns.

The array is mirrored back a listview.

I have a routine to edit a row. But afterward my refresh function returns the screen to the top of the listbox.

How do I return listbox display to a given indice?

Thank you.

Any thoughts on a way that I could understand for capturing a double click in a listview?

Thank you.

This has always worked for me.

GUIRegisterMsg($WM_NOTIFY, "_WM_NOTIFY") ; Place this somewhere near the top of your script so that it will call the function below.

    Local $hWndFrom, $iCode, $tNMHDR, $hWndListView, $lParam

    If Not IsHWnd($hListView) Then $hWndListView = GUICtrlGetHandle($hListView)
    $tNMHDR = DllStructCreate($tagNMHDR, $ilParam)
    $hWndFrom = HWnd(DllStructGetData($tNMHDR, "hWndFrom"))
    $iCode = DllStructGetData($tNMHDR, "Code")
    Switch $hWndFrom
        Case $hWndListView
            Switch $iCode

                    Local $nmia = DllStructCreate($tagNMITEMACTIVATE, $lParam)

            EndSwitch
    EndSwitch
    Return $__LISTVIEWCONSTANT_GUI_RUNDEFMSG
EndFunc   ;==>_WM_NOTIFY

why do the Notify routines never work for me? That looks so straight forward. Yet nothing happens. Do I have to set some ListView styles?

$hListView is a global variable. You should have gotten an error stating that it wasn't declared.

Having said that, You'd do something like:

Global $hListView = _GUICtrlListView_Create(...etc...)

Or

Global $h_listview = GUICtrlListView(...etc...)
Global $hListView = GUICtrlGetHandle($h_listview)

Sorry for the confusion, I copy/pasted a chunk of code that I used without looking at your variable names used with your controls.

It didn't error out because $hListView happens to be my var for the handle

$LVid is the control id. Made that change where needed.

I'll look at it again fresh tomorrow.

Thanks to you both
