ravenwish
Hi Guys, It's me again ^^ I want to make an automated Windows system install (like I said in my last topic) (Windows installs, softwares install by themselves and then I only participate at the end of it all) My sytem works for all Windows...but Vista...and maybe Win7(I don't remember) I have some regwrite commands that disable the UAC and its notifications. But, the problem is the launch of the script. Since the UAC isn't disabled before I launch the script, the UAC makes his funny notification and then, nothing else can be done until I tell to the UAC to let my script run I have a question, is there a way to make AutoIt run this script without being bothered or is there another way to disable the UAC with AutoIt or should I continue to ask the UAC to give access to my script? Thanks
Moderators Melba23 Posted May 4, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 4, 2011 ravenwish,#RequireAdmin will run the script as an adminstrator - but you have to deal with the initial UAC before it continues. If you think about it logically, allowing UAC to be disabled by automation scripts would render it useless. ravenwish
Hahaha I know...but, there's always a way to fly under the radars. Then, I wondered if there was a way we could use to go through the UAC. Thanks anyways
