ahmed9100,

Look at _GUICtrlListView_SimpleSort and _GUICtrlListView_RegisterSortCallBack in the Help file. As its name suggests, the former should be good enough for a simple, sort such as the one you want. :unsure:

Because the IP addresses are considered text strings and not as numbers it is sorting correctly.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

ahmed9100,

The IPs are treated as strings because of their format (multiple "."). I have no idea how to sort them numerically within the ListView itself. :>

You could read all the data into an array, sort it yourself and then rewrite it into a ListView - but that is a lot of work. Do you really need to have the IPs ordered that much? :unsure:

You would have to "pad" the IP address numbers with 0s to get the sort to work correctly. Here's one section of your code that will do it for the items in your .ini file.

Do
                $i = $i + 1
                $name1 = IniRead("Memmber\" & $member[$i], "data", "name", "Error")
                $ip1 = IniRead("Memmber\" & $member[$i], "data", "ip", "Error")
                $phone1 = IniRead("Memmber\" & $member[$i], "data", "phone", "Error")
                $mac1 = IniRead("Memmber\" & $member[$i], "data", "mac", "Error")
                $date1 = IniRead("Memmber\" & $member[$i], "data", "date", "Error")
                Local $SplitIP = StringSplit($ip1, ".")
                Local $Tmp = ""
                For $Loop = 1 To $SplitIP[0] - 1
                    $Number = StringFormat("%03u", $SplitIP[$Loop])
                    $Tmp &= $Number & "."
                Next
                $Tmp &= StringFormat("%03u", $SplitIP[$Loop])
                $ip1 = $Tmp

You need

Example:

#include <Array.au3>
#include "_ArrayNaturalSort.au3"
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

Global $listview, $msg
Global $array[10][4] = [    ["1", "10.10.10.20", "", ""], _
                            ["2", "10.10.10.2", "", ""], _
                            ["3", "10.10.10.1", "", ""], _
                            ["4", "10.10.10.30", "", ""], _
                            ["5", "10.10.10.111", "", ""], _
                            ["6", "10.10.10.11", "", ""], _
                            ["7", "10.10.10.22", "", ""], _
                            ["8", "10.10.10.4", "", ""], _
                            ["9", "10.10.10.200", "", ""], _
                            ["10", "10.10.10.222", "", ""]]

_ArrayNaturalSort($array, 0, 0, 0, 1)

GUICreate("IP Sort", 320, 250, -1, -1, -1)
$listview = GUICtrlCreateListView("Name|IP|MAC|Phone", 10, 10, 300, 200);,$LVS_SORTDESCENDING)
$sData = ""
For $i = 0 To UBound($array) - 1
    For $j = 0 To UBound($array, 2) - 1
        $sData &= $array[$i][$j] & "|"
    Next
    GUICtrlCreateListViewItem($sData, $listview)
    $sData = ""
Next
GUISetState()

Do
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
Until $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE

Output:

3|10.10.10.1|||
2|10.10.10.2|||
8|10.10.10.4|||
6|10.10.10.11|||
1|10.10.10.20|||
7|10.10.10.22|||
4|10.10.10.30|||
5|10.10.10.111|||
9|10.10.10.200|||
10|10.10.10.222|||

I would read ini to an array and do all sortings in the array and copy it afterwards to the listview.
