Google Latitude for Google Voice Control

Recommended Posts

How would one get Google Latitude location data into Autoit? I want to write a script that would change Google Voice's forward to phone number based on where the iPhone is. For example, when the iPhone is at my home location, Google Voice should be forwarded to home phone only. Whenever the iPhone leaves home, Google Voice would be automatically set to forward calls to iPhone only.

Google Latitude App is already on the iPhone and constantly reports iPhone location to Google Latitude. The location is pin to google map, which I want Autoit to read.

There is a Google latitude API.

The Google Latitude part is rather easy. Google Latitude uses REST for the API interface. See google latitude. The current Lat and Long info can be obtained by a simple HTTP GET command using WinHTTP UDF I would guess. Once you have those values set as $vars in autoit then jump to the google voice api side and do similar to via google voice http commands. I dont think Google Voice has a true official native API.

I am working on a project that does the exact same thing. I havnt been able to put much time into it but its on my plate of things to do.
