Recommended Posts

Hi to all, i want to embed windows media player in an autoit GUI...But unfortunatly i can't resize the object...i want a custom dimension but the player always take the same size. How i can set my size?

#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$Gui = GUICreate("WMP", 797, 558, 122, 78)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

$Link = "rtsp://stream.vrf.de/VRF"

$oMediaplayer = ObjCreate("WMPlayer.OCX.7")
GUICtrlCreateObj ($oMediaplayer, 8, 8, 777, 545) ;<---Don't work well, i can't choice the dimension

If Not IsObj ($oMediaplayer) Then
MsgBox(8192, "test", "error")
Exit
EndIf

With $oMediaplayer
    .fullScreen = True
    .windowlessVideo = False
    .enableContextMenu = True
    .enabled = True
    .uiMode = "full"
    .settings.autostart = True
    .settings.mute = False
    .settings.volume = 100
    .settings.Balance = 0
    .URL = $Link
EndWith

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch
WEnd

Hi to all :unsure:

Can't test it right now but try to move "GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)" after "GUICtrlCreateObj"

From researching this here on the forum and elsewhere this object can't be resized. It appears to ignore the size settings unless you're using it to view a video.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

There's no way to resize THAT WMP object, there are other ways of accessing Windows Media Player, do a search on the forums I believe I found a couple recently. Also, trancexx posted in the Example Scripts a function that displays streaming video on a GUI a little while ago.
