oren
For exemple.. I sow that doing something like this does not work if $Admin then #requireAdmin endif It request admin rights anyway.. I want it to ask for admin rights only when I need it... Thank you
water
It doesn't work the way you want it to work. According to the help file #RequireAdmin " ... launches a new process ..." which means that the whole script runs with administrator rights. So I would suggest to pack the functionality you need to be run with elevated permissions into a separate script using #RequireAdmin and call it from the script running with "normal" rights. Juvigy
If not IsAdmin() Then RunAs($user, $domain, $pass,0,@ScriptName,@ScriptDir) This should be what you want.
jvanegmond
Have a look at this topic: I think this does the magic: ShellExecute(@ScriptName, "", "", "runas") Basically you have to restart your script with admin privileges. No other way. github.com/jvanegmond
