hotbuttmud
There was something I was wondering, what's the best way to find the frequency of a script, like how many times it will cycle per second. Should I set a timer and 1 add to a variable, then divide the variable by the number of seconds elapsed? I'm also a noob at GUI. I wanted to display this in a small box off to the side that doesn't get in the way of anything I'm doing, like how the Au3 Window Info does. hotbuttmud
hotbuttmud,Look at TimerInit and TimerDiff - they are the easiest way to measure time taken in a loop. M23I can see how that works, but, I'm wondering how accurate it is because of inconsistencies. I'll give it a try anyway, maybe look for the average time in the past several cycles to eliminate 'noise' and then divide 1 by it. Thanks for the suggestion! Moderators Melba23 Posted June 9, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 9, 2011 hotbuttmud, how accurate it is because of inconsistenciesI would suggest that it is as accurate as you will ever get with AutoIt. Best take an average over a good few cycles though!
