Problem using > sign

Hi All,

I have an AutoIt Toolbar and the Toolbar is updated automaticly.

But Beta update 3.3.7.10 is giving me a problem test the following code with release version 3.3.6.1

What is the problem ???

If "3.3.7.8" < "3.3.7.9" Then
    Msgbox (64, "Msg", "No Error")
Else
    Msgbox (16, "Msg", "Error")
EndIf


If "3.3.7.9" < "3.3.7.10" Then
    Msgbox (64, "Msg", "No Error")
Else
    Msgbox (16, "Msg", "Error")
EndIf

Out of curiosity why not use _VersionCompare()?

It's doing a string compare and 10 is indeed less than 9.

It would work better if you stripped the dots and then tried it but even then I usually convert that result to Number(Result)
