AIK

Hi,

I had a go at writing a wrapper for irrKlang v1.3.0b.

I call the wrapper AIK (AutoIt IrrKlang).

AIK currently gives AutoIt users access to 119 irrKlang sound functions.

(Sorry but I've only tested under WinXP x86)

AIK was based on Frank Dods irrKlang wrapper and compiled using CodeBlocks IDE and GCC compiler.

The package contains:

Bin\AIK.dll, irrKlang.dll, ikpFlac.dll, ikpMP3.dll (wrapper, sound engine and 2 plugins).

Examples\HelpFile\ (contains all help file examples).

Media\ (contains various sound files the help examples use).

AIK.au3 (autoit udf for the wrapper).

AIK.chm (help file WIP).

Updated DL Host 12-Dec-2011

Here's an external link for it as it's 1.36MB size download.

(have no idea what the host is like, just a random free file host found via a google search)

If anyone wants the source for the AIK.dll let me know and I'll post it.

If anyone has a better option of where to host a file for free then post away :huh2:

In general, feedback welcome.

Cheers.

At first I thought it about Automated Instalation Kit.:huh2:

I've tested on Windows7/32bit with no problems (not all examples). Thanks for sharing!

For file hosting I use box.net. You should try it!

I don't really have a use for this at the moment, but you could always host your program on SourceForge. It's a great place to host and you get to put a lot of detail into your files/projects.

Thanks man, I did find some irrklang stuff on Linus' googlecode page, and some irrklangwrapper.dll, it only contained Play2D() sound, not 3D, but managed to include it myself, and I now get sound, but I cant posistion the sound (or my character) so it sounds like it's in a 3D environment.

But AIK seems to include more stuff, now I just have to figure out how to get it working :P

Much appreciated, though I could(would?) still need the original from smashly, I've tried PM'ing him earlier today when i posted. but he's not around everyday (last login the 16th).
