guinness
You know that "spawn" is also a game term and talking about games is against the rules. guinness
"Create" would've been more appropriate. I suggest having a look in the Help File. ZanaxNL
I did used Help file. But the thing i can find are all GUI relatedso it is shown in GUI like GUICtrlCreatePicso do u know any functions for that?
E1M1
yes. You cant create just image, you must create GUI first then you can create image on it. and after that you can get mouse position (look for mouse from help file) and after that you can use WinMove() to make your window move to your mouse. edited
UEZ
Something like that? Example from help file modified: #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> Opt('MustDeclareVars', 1) Global $hGui, $guiPos, $pic, $picPos Global $n, $msg, $aM $hGUI = GUICreate("My GUI picture", 200, 100, -1, -1, $WS_POPUP, $WS_EX_TOPMOST) ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered GUISetBkColor(0xE0FFFF) $n = GUICtrlCreatePic("c:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Examples\GUI\mslogo.jpg", 0, 0, 200, 100) GUISetState() HotKeySet("{ESC}", "_Exit") ; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed While 1 $msg = GUIGetMsg() If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then _Exit() $aM = MouseGetPos() WinMove($hGUI, "", $aM[0] + 5, $aM[1] + 5) WEnd Func _Exit() GUIDelete() Exit EndFunc Br, UEZ Edited June 22, 2011 by UEZ Please don't send me any personal message and ask for support! Mark5
Hi, sorry for digging old thread but I find this script just what I need. @UEZThanks for useful script. What I tried to change is to use transparent logo image and to remain on-top of all other applications. I looked into documentation and changed $WS_EX_TOPMOST to $WS_EX_LAYERED , image is transparent but obviously app is not staying on top. for example when I open PowerPoint presentation image is not staying on top. I tried with few more changes in a script but not yet make difference. So, is it possible to have transparent image to stay on top all other application and what to change in a script? Mark5
Well, honestly I am not experienced, mostly I used autoit to record simple actions in web browser. Here, I tried to add another command to existing line, no result: $hGUI = GUICreate("My GUI picture", 200, 100, -1, -1, $WS_POPUP, $WS_EX_TOPMOST, $WS_EX_LAYERED)
UEZ
You have to concatenate the styles with BitOr. $hGUI = GUICreate("My GUI picture", 200, 100, -1, -1, $WS_POPUP, BitOR($WS_EX_TOPMOST, $WS_EX_LAYERED)) Please don't send me any personal message and ask for support!
