Moderators Melba23 Posted June 30, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 30, 2011 Merchants,You need to remove the $WS_TABSTOP style from the Combo control as it is this style that determines whether the {TAB} key moves focus to the control. In the case of Combo (and many other) controls, the $WS_TABSTOP is a forced style (i.e. it is always added when you create the control) so you cannot create the control without it. However, you can remove the style once the control has been created like this:#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #include <ComboConstants.au3> #include <Constants.au3> #include <WinAPI.au3> $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) $hInput1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 10, 10, 200, 20) $hCombo = GUICtrlCreateCombo("File Names", 10, 40, 200, 20, $CBS_DROPDOWNLIST) ; Get current style value - note you need the Handle, not the ControlID $iStyle = _WinAPI_GetWindowLong(GUICtrlGetHandle($hCombo), $GWL_STYLE) ; And subtract the TABSTOP style GUICtrlSetStyle($hCombo, BitXOR($iStyle, $WS_TABSTOP)) $hInput2 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 10, 70, 200, 20) $hInput3 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 10, 100, 200, 20) GUISetState() While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit EndSwitch WEndAll clear? M23P.S. If anyone does know how to create the control without the $WS_TABSTOP please let me know because it did not work when I tried to omit to from the creation style. Zedna
When you use Koda form designer for creating Autoit's GUI forms then you can use its TabOrder dialog box for defining Tab order of all controls. It will generate AU3 script accordingly for you.
