RogueX20
With the help of some members I wrote an app that has helped me out a lot at work. A few of you peaked my interests in learning more of this programming/code stuff. I decided that I want to learn Visual Basic as well as Autoit. I want to recreate the app I made with Autoit with VB 2010. One major keyword use in the autoit app was StringRegExp(). I wanted to know what is the equivalent of that in VB 2010. GEOSoft
Not sure why you would want to use VB for anything but a quick google turned up this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/818802 although it's specific to VB6 I don't think there are any differences for 2010 although you may have to also google for 2010 specific. Just remember the RegExp syntax is also diffent because it uses a different RegEx engine. George Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.Be sure to read and follow the forum rules. -AKA the AutoIt Reading and Comprehension Skills test.*** The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports. The installer now includes both 32 and 64 bit versions. No change in version number. Visit my Blog .. currently not active but it will soon be resplendent with news and views. Also please remove any links you may have to my website. it is soon to be closed and replaced with something else. "Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!" Can autoit manipulate data from an Access or SQL database then print PDFs? There are opensource apps that allow you to use VB an access ADOBE to generate PDFs from within code. If autoit can do that I sure as hell would like to start working on that.
