I just googled this today while looking to include it in my program.

I use this simple code to generate a HWID

MsgBox(64, "", _HWID())

func _HWID()
    $osdrive = StringLeft(@SystemDir, 3)
    $original = "0"&@CPUArch & @KBLayout & DriveGetSerial("C:\") & StringUpper(DriveGetType($osdrive)) & DriveSpaceTotal ($osdrive)

    $string2_mod = _StringToHex(_StringReverse($string2))
    $original = _StringEncrypt(1, $original, $string2_mod, 4)

That appears to be an arbitrary method to generate a unique id for an individual machine by using a very peculiar list of hardware properties on the target pc. I am not sure if that is what Nonstop needs.

how can i get Hardware ID with autoit? :S

Can you be more specific? The hardware id of what?

I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I think he is trying to find something to add to safe guard his program so only people he says can use it.

In the end I think they would both generate the same goal, if this is what he is trying to come up with.
