Broadcastic
I'm thinking of writing a basic script for IPTV webcasting. Need some suggestions, like, if someone tried it before, any challenges?what libraries to use etc?1. control webcam via script2. inserting static images for logos, with transparencyJPG & PNG. Maybe some animation effects 3. playing mp3 files4. playing wmv and mp4 files5. Skype access for phone\video interviews6. events timer7. queue + program script8. manual override...what else?I imagine everything will be packed into Custom TV program script with relative timing etc like a queuemm:ss00:00 Program Start00:01 play image C:\logo.jpg00:29 stop image00:30 webcam on10:30 webcam off10:31 commercial 10:31 play video C:\commercial.mp4 11:00 stop video 11:01 webcam onetcwhen use ustream/livestream caster to grab video/audio from autoit app window... jaberwacky
Broadcastic, can you sum up your current programming skill level? If anyone wants to even consider helping out then they want to know how much you know. Broadcastic
I consider myself advanced programmer, although added Autoit to my skillset only 2 years ago
jaberwacky
So my best understanding of this script is that you can download the script and watch what others who have the script are broadcasting and you can broadcast for others to watch too? I looked this us a little but the explanations are kind of lacking. Broadcastic
No, you prepare show script for live broadcast and play it, while doing live show. LiveStream/Ustream Casting App grabs whatever you are displaying on the screen + audio and broadcasts it live
MrMitchell
This doesn't seem like something best suited for a scripting language, but to see it done in AutoIt or any other script would indeed be pretty impressive. Anyway...Good luck!
