simple 'clicker' not clicking in correct window

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I hope someone here can help

I recently started to play on the Star Wars Galaxies emulator server, I used to play the official SWG a few years ago.

When I played before I used a macro program to help me craft while Away From keyboard.

this program basically repeated a mouse double-click at two different locations.

I dug out this software but couldnt get it to work (The clicking would work on the desktop but would not work within the actual game window.

So, I downloaded autoit and decided to have a go at creating something myself.

this is the script I use

$a = 1

while $a = 1

Sleep(1000)

MouseClick("left", 328, 314)

Sleep(50)

MouseClick("left", 328, 314)

Sleep(250)

MouseClick("left", 382, 316)

Sleep(50)

MouseClick("left", 382, 316)

Sleep(1000)

WEnd

As with the old software, this works fine on the desktop, but, as soon as the game-window is there, it stops controlling the pointer.

Im running the latest version of Autoit, Windows 7 64 bit

Any help given will be very much appreciated.

funster,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

However, you seem to have missed the Forum Rules which forbid any discussion of game automation here.

I look forward to helping you when you post a legitimate question. ;)
