Random certain numbers

Hey,

I have recently started to do some Autoit scripting and today ive come to a place where i cant get any further without some assistance,

How would it be possible to random numbers/letters that would have be predesign, Like i want the script to only random between the numbers, 1,7,9. So that only one of those numbers can be generated, or like "T", "S", "P"

Is this possible in some way?

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Put the required values into an array and then use Random to select an index:

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "On_Exit")

Global $aNumbers[3] = [1, 7, 9]

While 1
    MsgBox(0, "Selection", $aNumbers[Random(0, 2, 1)])
WEnd

Func On_Exit()
    Exit
EndFunc

As for random characters, you can use the same concept as Melaba23 gave you and choose random numbers of the ASCII character numbers.

T = 84 ; The ASCII code for T is 85. For an ASCII chart, search Google

S = 83

P = 80

Then, as Melba23 suggested, do something like this using the Chr command to convert the numbers to letters:

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "On_Exit")

Global $aNumbers[3] = [84, 83, 80]

While 1
    MsgBox(0, "Selection", Chr($aNumbers[Random(0, 2, 1)]))
WEnd

Func On_Exit()
    Exit
EndFunc

I got it to work the way i wanted, and i made some last things to it. Tho i cant get the send variable and "down" to work correctly, im not 100% sure if i have done this correct, I want it to press the "random" character and then keep it pressed for the 2 second sleep.
