Giorgi
Hi all This is my first post here I want to control my AutoIt program from another program, sending him some data by CMD command line. Is it possible?
Moderators Melba23 Posted July 23, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2011 Giorgi,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. You can very easily pass commandline parameters to your AutoIt program - look in the Help file under <Using AutoIt - Command Line Parameters> and you will learn all about how to do it. You know where we are if you run into problems later. Giorgi
Melba23, Thx for your quick reply. I can pass parameters to my program on first run, but i need pass parameters when program is running. Can StdoutRead() helps in this case? Thx in advance
Moderators Melba23 Posted July 23, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2011 Giorgi,There are a number of ways to pass data between different processes. If you search for "inter process communication" you will find several threads about it and then you can choose which one suits you best. I personally like the MailSlot version from trancexx.
