SuperNatural
Howdy ! I have a very little question ..I wrote a script, and I wanted to compile it to an Exe format. Before I compiled, I used the AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI to add some file info, for example:#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Description=My First Script! And more like this, for examepl: version, description, etc ..After I finished, I wanted to add one more thing - "Company".I was looking for that for a while and I didn't found it =/I'll be glad to know ..How can I add the "Company" detail for the Exe output file ?Best regards,Johnson. SuperNatural
Thank you Melba, but I'm sorry, I wasn't clear :} When I ask how to add the company name, I mean that you'll see the company name when you point the exe file, not in the file properties, understand? For example, if you point any exe file, like software or something, you can see the description, version, date .. and I want to add the company name :} How can I do that? Thank you! SuperNatural
lol :}I mean that you just point the mouse on the exe file to get it details, like here:As you can see, I didn't click the file properties, just point the mouse on it, and I got those details (Desc, ver..)And the second line is the "Company" (just in my language). So... how can I add the "Company" to there? Thank you! Edited August 12, 2011 by SuperNatural
Moderators Melba23 Posted August 12, 2011 Moderators Share Posted August 12, 2011 SuperNatural, I have no idea - my OS (Vista) does not do that. However, I imagine that if you can show those particular items, you can show others from the resource table as well - if you play around with the OS settings. AutoIt can get the information into the resource table, but it cannot make it visible if the OS does not want to show it. SuperNatural
But I just show you that the OS does support, and the exe file that you saw made with AutoIt =_= So AutoIt support it and can do it, but how??
