When we include a au3 file at the beggining of the codes. like #include <INet.au3> so, if I don`t have the inet.au3 file in my computer, will the code still be able to run the application? If i do need the au3 file, after compile the application will ht eau3 file be inside the exe as well? sorry if this is somehow obvious but I just want to be sure Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even if the computer running the compiled exe doesn't have autoit on it, it will still run fine. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. If you create your own GUIs then do not add include files unless necessary - simple! But the best way to clear out unused functions and variables is to use the Au3Stripper utility which comes with the full SciTE4AutoIt3 package - that strips everything and makes your code as small as possible. It can even rename your functions and variables to 2/3 character aliases which also speeds up execution.
