NomadMemory UDF doesn't work on Vista & 7

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

I just made an InvokerBot for DotA that for example when user press F1 key InvokerBot will:

Send("{Q Down}")
        Send("{Q Up}")
        Send("{Q Down}")
        Send("{Q Up}")
        Send("{Q Down}")
        Send("{Q Up}")
        Send("{R Down}")
        Send("{R Up}")

to invoke Cold Snap.

It's working fine on Windows XP but when i test this on Windows Vista & 7 i noticed that the value that should be read from 6FAE8450 (it's a static address) is always 0, i checked this address with Cheat Engine and that was 1 but my code is always return 0

My Code to read this address:

SetPrivilege("SeDebugPrivilege", 1)
    $PID = ProcessExists("war3.exe")
    $Process = _MemoryOpen($PID)
    $Value = _MemoryRead(0x6FAE8450, $Process)

    MsgBox(0, "", $Value)

and ofcourse include NomadMemory.au3

before you post i should say i try this:

Remember it's working fine on XP, so code is 100% correct. some days ago when i just write the basic codes of this tool i didn't use SetPrivilege("SeDebugPrivilege", 1) and it return "" (i mean empty) but here it's returning 0!!!

Thank you all.
