Forbidden Forum search words - border or color

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know why certain words are not allowed in forum searches? I was trying to search for information about changing the border color of a window and I find that the words "border" and "color" are forbidden. These words seem pretty innocuous to me.

What I'm trying to do is figure out how to change the border color of an non-autoit generated window. I've looked through all of the GDI and WINAPI functions and have found out how to retrieve the colors of the components of an existing window, but not how to change them.

Thanks.

I think it's because those are very common words on an HTML page, and this software searches the HTML to find what you're looking for. Try doing a google search using site:autoit.com/forum, you'll get better results when looking for those words.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
