DeltaRocked Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) hello, I have been trying to use the IENavigate to verify the resultant html source code that is being used by the browser to display the website. I am not interested in the images and other things which get downloaded. I am just interested in the source. 1: How do I do it ? 2: Why do I need it ? cause I want to analyze the source. Case 1: Wget , tried with wget but I am facing problems with browser redirects. If no other solution is available then I will have the write the code (which am willing to) for detecting browser re-directs and frameset , where frameset uses a url . and then recomplie the web-page. This effectively downloads on the web-page and no other object. Thanks. As for the source. still some trimming needs to be done, especially while handling frames. but the majority of the task is complete.
