Georgech
Hi, I am writing a script to handle the tightVNC server. Currently, I can activate it, but I can't provide any password to the next conversation box. I expect my code to pass the password into that particular box. The following is what I have so far, but I know it is not right. Run("C:\Program Files\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe"); $handle = WinGetHandle("[ACTIVE]"); ControlSend($handle, "", "Edit", "ok"); I also think I probably need to use some of the window info and function from autoit to make it work. Any idea? >>>> Window <<<< Title: TightVNC Control Auhentication Class: #32770 Position: 497, 305 Size: 285, 159 Style: 0x94C808CC ExStyle: 0x00010101 Handle: 0x001D0620 >>>> Control <<<< Class: Edit Instance: 1 ClassnameNN: Edit1 Name: Advanced (Class): [CLASS:Edit; INSTANCE:1] ID: 1001 Text: Position: 150, 59 Size: 116, 20 ControlClick Coords: 89, 14 Style: 0x500100A0 ExStyle: 0x00000204 Handle: 0x000F06AE
somdcomputerguy
Try Edit1 instead of just Edit. - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Georgech
Try Edit1 instead of just Edit.Hi,I tried it, but it doesn't work. Maybe I should not have use ControlSend($handle, "", "Edit1", "ok"). Is it possible to use the Winwaitrun() for a conversation box with the TightVNC?
