Enum an array

Hi all,

I was trying to enumerate elements of an array using enum. Can't get past this simple yet confusing error.

Smarter ways to enumerate arrays or other elements are welcome.

Global $x=InputBox("Input lista da controllare","Numero lista");how large the list is
Dim $Lista[$x]
For $z=1 To $x
Enum $Lista[$z]
ConsoleWrite($Lista[$z])
Next

Error is

(4,13) : ERROR: syntax error

Enum $Lista[

I use this Function I created >> but in your case you might need to look at ReDim.

That's a lot of code to explain that Enum only works with normal $variable names and is not intended to be used with $array[element]'s name format.

Thanks for being short and clear, that's what i wanted to see. Then i'll rearrange it to do the work in another way

I use that exact same Function in the program SciTE Jump for the language menu, so even though Enum doesn't work with arrays (as iEvKI3gv9Wrkd41u put it) it's still a plausible work around. Just download the program in my signature and you'll see how I've implemented it for a 25 element array.

Personal (out of the hat) check list:

1) redirect to manual. (manual did not allow for that)

2) manual fix misconception. ("Enum $Lista[$v]")

3) show manual workaround. (already provided)
