i was writing a program with autoit and i was thinking to sell it to my customers, i made a something to check a username and password from my internet host and if they was correct .......

Unfortunately i noticed that all of source code can be seen if i open compiled script with a hex viewer like XVI32 so if someone know a little about AutoIt he can change my source and change where i made a 'If'. just look at the picture below and tell me there is anyway to fix it.

Other than using Obfuscator and/or UPX to at least make it harder to read, there's not much you can do to a script to make it impossible to be read.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

The easiest step is just to turn on obfuscation during the "compile".

Look at obfuscator and it's options.

There are more drastic measures you can take. A forum search ought to turn them up.

Of course, anything you do, someone else can undo if they're willing to make the effort.

Edit: Drats, beat by a few seconds! lol

You have the possibility to save the code to the exe!

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_SaveSource=                 ;(Y/N) Save a copy of the Scriptsource in the EXE resources. default=N

probably #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_SaveSource=y is set.
