I think it's a bug in #Obfuscator_Parameters=/striponly

#Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_Obfuscator=y
#Obfuscator_Parameters=/striponly
#EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
For $i = 1 To 3
Call("Message" & $i)
Next
MsgBox(0, "Boom!", "Boom!")
Func Message1()
MsgBox(0, "1", "1")
EndFunc   ;==>Message1
Func Message2()
MsgBox(0, "2", "2")
EndFunc   ;==>Message2
Func Message3()
MsgBox(0, "3", "3")
EndFunc   ;==>Message3

Just run this code without compiling and you will see it's working fine but if you compile it with #Obfuscator_Parameters=/striponly and it will changes to:

For $i = 1 To 3
Call("Message" & $i)
Next
MsgBox(0, "Boom!", "Boom!")

It's all, any solution?

It's not a bug, it's because you're using Call to call the functions, there's no way that Obfuscator can know that you're using the other functions in the script, so it strips them. If you compile it from SciTe you'll see the warning message in the Console window.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I can't see any warning message in this script even in SciTE:

#Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_Obfuscator=y
#Obfuscator_Parameters=/striponly
#EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
For $i = 1 To 3
Call("Message" & $i)
Next
MsgBox(0, "Boom!", "Boom!")
Func Message1()
MsgBox(0, "1", "1")
EndFunc   ;==>Message1
Func Message2()
MsgBox(0, "2", "2")
EndFunc   ;==>Message2
Func Message3()
MsgBox(0, "3", "3")
EndFunc   ;==>Message3

Just let me know how can i call a function in this kind of "For Loops" ? With a variable like $i in the Function's name? I need a way to calling such functions and Obfuscator doesn't strips it.

I hope you understand my weak grammer.

There is no way to use the strip unused functions part of Obfuscator and Call when used with a variable.

You do get Warnings:

To fix this you need:

You will still get the error in Scite when you compile, but your obfuscated script should still have the functions Message1-3 inside it. At least it did for me when I tried it on your script.

The proper way to do what you want is to write _one_ Message function taking $i as parameter and behaving differently for each passed value of $i (using Switch, Select, IFs, ...). This way no need to use Call(...) and no fuss.

D4RKON3,

Certainly: :graduated:

For $i = 1 To 3
    Message($i)
Next

MsgBox(0, "Boom!", "Boom!")

Func Message($j)
    Switch $j
        Case 1
            MsgBox(0, "One", "You passed 1 as a parameter")
        Case 2
            MsgBox(0, "2", "And this time 2")
        Case 3
            MsgBox(0, "Last one", "And Finally three")
    EndSwitch
EndFunc   ;==>Message

I've always gone on the basis that Eval, Assign & Call should be used as a last resort & 9/10 there is always a workaround e.g. Yashied was using Eval in a function he uses in WinAPIEx.au3 and I came up with an alternative solution >>

Another method would be to place respective function calls where they are never called:

#Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_Obfuscator=y
#Obfuscator_Parameters=/striponly
#EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
For $i = 1 To 3
 Call("Message" & $i)
Next
MsgBox(0, "Boom!", "Boom!")
Func Message1()
 MsgBox(0, "1", "1")
EndFunc   ;==>Message1
Func Message2()
 MsgBox(0, "2", "2")
EndFunc   ;==>Message2
Func Message3()
 MsgBox(0, "3", "3")
EndFunc   ;==>Message3
Exit
Message1()
Message2()
Message3()
