$coord = PixelSearch (350, 50, 1200, 300, Binary("0x" & GUICtrlRead($Input5)), 0)

I want input hex number from input control. so I use Binary() to change Dec to Hex.

but it can not work.

How can I pass a Hex from a input control, to the PixelSearch() function.

zaazbb,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :graduated:

Perhaps if you used Hex you might get what you want. ;)

The data returned from an input control using GUICtrlRead() is the text entered, which is a string, not a decimal number.

To convert a string representing a hex value without the preceding "0x" to a number, then try " :-

Dec(GUICtrlRead($Input5))

or

Execute("0x" & GUICtrlRead($Input5))

When using PixelSearch(), the help file specifies the color value of the pixel to find is in decimal or hex.
