This works fine, but I want to navigate it with my default browser and not internet explorer.

Could anyone help me with this please.

And that would be what? Firefox, Opera, Chrome, QTWeb...

Hi guinness thanks for the reply,

the default broswer would be different everytime, because it's for my users, and everyone may have different browsers set as their default.

I've had a search around but, I cant find any solution to my problem :/

What is your application? Because there might be an alternative way of doing it. Honestly trying to accommodate for all browsers that are on the market is just looking for trouble.

My application is just a simple program which allows the users to control and change their windows, such as resizing them/ changing transparency etc.

I also want to have an object created into it so it can allow users to navigate to my page easily.

I know shellexecute would use the default browser, but i want it to be embedded into my GUI, so thats not what im looking for.

Using Internet Explorer is not a problem, but some of my users doesn't have Internet explorer installed on their PC which would cause errors, thats why I want to use ther default browser instead of just Internet Explorer.

I think that they still have the components of Internet Explorer on their system, they may not have iexplore.exe, but they'll still have the components that make up the browser. Otherwise the Help system won't work, as well as a number of other Windows components. I would try using the IE objects on a system that doesn't have it installed and see if they still work.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

As BrewManNH said, I would look at the IE.au3 functions anyway (use the latest beta if they have IE 9) because believe it or not this is more than likely to work then what you previously wanted to do.
