Moderators Melba23 Posted November 19, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 19, 2011 thawee, I have no idea why its not visibly activating the check box.Because _GUICtrlTreeView_SetSelected does not check the checkbox - for that you need _GUICtrlTreeView_SetChecked. Just add this line: _GUICtrlTreeView_SetSelected($hTreeView, $hItem[$iRand]) _GUICtrlTreeView_SetChecked ($hTreeView, $hItem[$iRand]) ; <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< And your checkbox is checked! thawee
Makes sense, I have noticed that once in a blue moon SetSelected will check the box for me which has caused a ton of confusion for me.. I have tried using the _GUICtrlTreeView_SetChecked, and you are correct it checks the box nicely; however, For whatever reason in the script I am writing it doesn't activate the checked / selected item, so that a secondary toolbar becomes activated therefore allowing me to manipulate the newly active toolbar Is there a better way to manipulate tree lists ? Thanks for your response, Thawee
Moderators Melba23 Posted November 19, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 19, 2011 thawee,I am not sure I understand. You have "selected" and "checked" an item and now you say it does not "activate"? Can you post some code to illustrate the problem you are having. thawee
Thanks for you quick response, The reason I was asking these questions I was messing around with automating Avira Antivirus for funzzies. I am getting suck on the multi-level treelist & toolbox selections. I can Set the boxes in the treelist as selected / checked but it doesn't activate the selection, so the toolbox is active / usable.
